Our journey commenced many moons ago, when climate change and environment problems or the importance of food security and quality of life had started to turn over a new leaf in the realm of nutrition and societal expectations from food and food companies. Such evolution not only altered the consumers’ behaviour and knowledge about health and wellness overtime but also transformed the economic and health demands, resulting in the development of novel and sustainable culinary sources.
At Vorna, being nestled among the pioneers and experts of the food industry and inspired by the nature’s offerings, we embrace innovation and strive for a sustainable, healthy alternative for the animal proteins. In this regard, Vorna ventures to introduce a unique product, a plant-based protein powder as niVegg egg replacer, to the market. Taking a bold step, niVegg will be the first such product in the Iranian and the Middle Eastern market.


niVegg not only mimics eggs in characteristics and function but also closely resembles them in nutritional content, meeting the needs for a nourishment to be used as a protein-rich source.
Hence, under the guidance of scholars from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, we have founded our headquarters within the infamous National Nutrition and Food Technology Research Institute of Iran. In this environment, surrounded by the state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge laboratory equipment, we harness the power of research and development to make exceptional products on a daily basis, and deliver them with utmost dedication to our enthusiastic customers.
